I had no problems in communicating since i have been studying English for many years before and the language of instruction in my first degree was also English.There were some difficulties communicatining with local people sometimes becuase of their different accent.

-If you are travelling from London there is a direct train connection now (Hull Trains).
-Bring very warm clothes and sunglasses as well!!! It is quite often sunny there in comparison to other regions in England.

-Very close to the university/facilitated student interaction
-On-campus accomodation was quite clean, spacious, with modern facilities

-Student houses outside main campus were not very clean or well maintained, not very spacious.
