Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? I enjoyed the freedom and independence that an off-campus house offered.
Personal comments:
The housing situation is ideal for any student because they offer a wide range of on campus housing as well as off-campus rentals for study abroad students.

Travel
Overall
Describe host city: Students interact with the local community without much university involvement
Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment
Activities, Nightlife: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment
Personal comments:
Darling Harbour was always a great place to go to for a night out, as well as George Street in the CBD. I lived at Coogee Beach so my favorite local spot was the Coogee Bay Hotel. The Mardi Gras parade down Oxford Street is a must see in March. Sydney offers so many great cafes and Thai restaurants, Coogee Bay Road had a great selection as well as the main streetw in Glebe and Newtown. The markets in Sydney on the weekends are also fantastic.
