Why? You get in touch with a lot of people
Personal comments:
Even though the flats weren't in a good state, living in the Uniflats offers the possibility of meeting a lot of international and native students, especially in the big complexes (Lofts, Flofts, 480 Leith etc.)

Personal comments:
The bog is always great for a good Speights (an NZ beer) and a nice small talk. Partying in an old church is pretty awesome so go to the Monkey Bar. Other clubs are Metro or 10 Bar. Of course House parties are pretty epic as well!!!

At the beginning it was quite hard to understand the kiwi expressions and pronounciation, but after a while you get used to it

I was travelling around every weekend (including skiing, bungee jumping, diving, caving etc.). Besides this the liquor is more expensive

Housing: was less expensive than at home.

Most houses are bad insolated, so it's getting pretty cold in winter (so from June to September)
