If you are academically motivated and independent, you will thrive at Oxford. Otherwise, it can be a difficult transition from a structured American university as the classes and lectures are not as frequent and study is done independenly.

I felt very comfortable transitioning into the Oxford atmosphere. The students were exceedingly welcoming to abroad students and academically, the instruction was outstanding.

Housing in Oxford was more than adequate. Each floor had a shared kitchen which was fully functional, the University provided all bedding and bath necessities and a full bathroom was located privately in each single or double room.
