Why?
It is nicer than living on campus, since it is closer to the city center and you don't have to share the common areas with as many people. The bedrooms are bigger as well.

My favorite night spot was the Student's Union. Nice bar: the wineyards. In the surroundings it is worth visiting the Black Forest and Brighton.
