HOUSING

Radio/TV Broadcasting, Independent
Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? I lived in one of their chalets with 4 other students my age. We each had our own room but shared 2 bathrooms, a small kitchen and living area. This was better than the dorms cause it had an apartment feel to it but was better than an aparment because it was so close to class.
Personal comments:
Get into a chalet if you can. The dorms are alright but from what I saw, very small and there are way too many people packed onto a floor. For the most part accomdation was clean and my roommates were very friendly. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Why? Most students live on campus, so this is the place to meet other international students as well as scottisch students. All the other facilities are close as well.
Personal comments:
The arrangements of the housing was perfect. The room was a bit small and expensive though. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Type of housing: On campus

If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Being older now, i would probably choose to live in a shared flat off campus. For an exchange student (especially if it's your first time abroad) campus accommodation is a good choice, though.
Personal comments:
Organised very swiftly. No problems. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Why? Loved Muirhead. Others may have not liked their dorms, but Muirhead was really great. Two showers, rooms with resonable space...
Personal comments:
Some complain that the housing looks too prison like. But if you spend so much time in your dorm and/or staring at your dorm, then you are missing the beautiful campus around you. Plus I got to live with three Scots and an Austrian. True international experience. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
