Accomodation in Lakeside is pretty good. The best of it is that it is very modern and new

Try to join societies to meet anglish people. It's better to improve its english to speek with english than with international students and watch the TV for your comprehension

UK is REALLY an expensive country, and no aids are easy to find
Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home.

The Eurotunnel is even expensier than the UK as a whole!

One more year to get the degree...but working in a firm that has any sort of agreement with the university.



FINAL COMMENTS

Travelling is very cheap from England (going to Majorca is even cheaper than from Spain!). The best you can do is to open your mind. The fact that one culture is different does not mean that is worse. Do not compare it with yours, but try to enjoy it!
