OVERALL
by Cristina, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Madrid, Spain
Business Studies, Erasmus
Important to choosing this university...
Academic reasons
KEY:
Very Important.
Important.
Not really important.
Unimportant.
Culture
Costs
Activities
Campus life
Party / people
Weather / Location
I wish I had known...
That you want to find outside what you already have. You learn to value the things you have! And that very small, things that you always have thought to be unimportant...are not!
In my opinion:
Most people loved it.

During my experience abroad, I ...
Became familiar with another culture
KEY:
Happened all the time.
Happened quite a lot.
Happened a bit.
Didn't happen.
Traveled
Improved language skills
Met people from other countries
Became more independent
Partied a lot
Experienced a change in life
Advanced my studies/career
Personal recommendation:
One more year to get the degree...but working in a firm that has any sort of agreement with the university.

FINAL COMMENTS

Travelling is very cheap from England (going to Majorca is even cheaper than from Spain!). The best you can do is to open your mind. The fact that one culture is different does not mean that is worse. Do not compare it with yours, but try to enjoy it!
