Description:
The university was founded in the centre of Ljubljana where the central university building and the majority of its faculties are located. Later on, some new, modern buildings were constructed in the suburbs of the city. The University of Ljubljana is famous for the quality of its study courses both in the humanities, and in scientific and technological fields, as well as in medicine, dentistry and veterinary science.

HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: With a family
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? The house was a bit far from the Center, but it was a large house, and the family living there was only two old people ; I had no problem ; an other Slovene student rented a room of the same house.

Rentals cost about half or even less than Parisian ones Restaurants are really cheap Travel, Telephone: was the same price as at home. Food, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was less expensive than at home.

Although Slovenia is unknown to many foreign people, this University can be proud to have such good teachers and relevant courses. Very friendly! FINAL COMMENTS
Of course, Bled, Postojna and the Coast are wonderful locations, but enjoy cycling on the hilly roads of this beautiful country!
