Description:
The Brno University of Technology (BUT) is the oldest university in Brno. Its origins date back to 1849 when a German-Czech Technical School was established in Brno. A Czech Technical University was founded in Brno in 1899 by a decree of Kaiser Franz Joseph I and so the Brno University of Technology will soon be celebrating two important anniversaries - the 150th anniversary of the Technical School and the 100 years of its existence as a university.

Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? not expensive, several facilities: refertories, food shop, vacum cleaner, washing machine, internet connection, heating, communitary spaces, gim, a few pubs... good enviroment
Personal comments:
it couldn´t be better!! i didn´t expect all the facilities i found there, maybe some shortcoming like the distance from the city center but really doesn´t matter ´cos there was good public transport links even at night.
