Why? Because I had all the facilities I needed, it was near the university and because I had the chance to meet lots of people: that helped me to improuve my language skills and gave the possibility to be an active part in the Erasmus student group.

It was a very nice place called "Les Escoliers". I had all the facilities I needed (my own small apartment, with kitchen corner and bathroom). It was near the university (walking distance 10min). Why? Because i can choose with freedom where to live and because i like to have more indenpende and enough space not only in the room but in other places.

there are not rooms on campus but there are residence and appartments close. Sometimes they help you to find something if you ask

Why? Normally campus are not to close to the center but you can find nice apartments or chalets at the center and for an accesible price

Why? More convenient to live in town than in the student accommodation which is out of town near the business school.

The university is quite small and therefor didn't have very many offers to give us exchange students as the french students already lived in those rooms/appartments. You had to find housing on your own more or less.
