Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Universitites in Germany don't have the campus structure that the United States has. When living in a great city like Berlin, take advantage of it and do what all the other students do: find a WG with others where all the action is. I recommend East Berlin, such as Prenzlauerberg, Mitte or Friedrichshain.
