HOUSING
by Sarah, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, United Kingdom
Translation/ Interpretation, Erasmus
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? independence, opportunity to meet more people from that country - other students are usually your flatmates!
Personal comments:
Marie-Haps international office did provide me with a list of houses (kots!) to look at, in the end I did choose one of them - but I checked out others from the newspapers too. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
by Sarah, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, United Kingdom
Translation/ Interpretation, Erasmus
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
that we had to sit a test before being allowed to enter interpreting classes In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
provide more french language teaching to the erasumus, and perhaps introduce a mentor scheme where Marie-Haps students get to know at least ONE erasmus (we do this at our uni. here in scotland) FINAL COMMENTS
