Describe host city: Students interact with the local community without much university involvement
Activities, Nightlife, Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
Diemen is situated only 10min with train from center of Amsterdam. Nightlife usually has been spended there. Best bars that you can find are situated in Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein. My fafovrite place to go was in Rembrandtplein called "Chocos". Boom Chicago that is situated in Leidseplein is a show that you really don't want to miss! the best bar was Cocos Outback, where we used to gather quite a lot. The best place to spend a good night with friends is Leidseplein in Amsterdam, where all the nightlife is boiling. Of course the places not to be missed are the Red-Light District, many Amsterdam parks (especially in spring-summer) and arts museums. My favourite bar in Amsterdam: Coco's Outback. In spite of the slogan (lousy food & warm beer) a really nice place to hang out in & watch some football. Also the student parties in the city are awesome. Meander, dansen bij jansen & atrium. A must if in Amsterdam. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
