HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? we are 16 people living on one corridor. Thatīs just far too much!
Personal comments:
very cheap, nice people on the floor, but it is impossible to keep everything clean... even though we have a cleaning lady! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Local language was: Different than language of instruction.
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't. Was learning the local language a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my knowledge How much did you improve your English?
My level before: No problems in any areas (including slang) My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) How much did you improve your local language?
My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.) My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) Personal comments:
What I found a bit annoying was, that most foreign students didnīt even try to learn Dutch. A lot of them went to Nijmegen to learn English. University is offering free "social Dutch" courses, but in the first semester only for students who donīt know the language, yet, thus, it wasnīt really interesting for me. Looking forward to the "advanced" class which starts next month. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
