HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Home university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? I´m just so used to living in appartments, I wouldn´t be free enough in any other form of accommodation

STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students equally interact with the local and student community
Activities: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Nightlife: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
To go clubbing, "Capital", a nightclub is not to be missed. For a relaxing Sunday afternoon, go to Retiro Park, rent a little boat, which costs very little and lie under the sun in the middle of the lake, it´s even nicer if you have someone to share it with!! Language difficulties
Language of instruction: Spanish
Was learning Spanish a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my Spanish How much did you improve your Spanish?
My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.) My level after: At ease in most situations Personal comments:
The best way to learn is to just say it even if it´s wrong, everybody learns from their mistakes and you never forget the embarrassment!!! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

EXPENSES
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
An ERASMUS grant Other sources of funding:
Personal savings Government assistance Work opportunities:
I worked during my study abroad experience Personal spending habits:
Food in Spain is much cheaper, but the telephone calls home made up the difference. Travel, Telephone: was more expensive than at home. Nightlife, Overall: was the same price as at home. Food, Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Installing a telephone is very very expensive and they ask you for a deposit because you are a foreign person, this deposit is very difficult to get back without alot of notice. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
