STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students equally interact with the local and student community
Activities, Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Nightlife: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
My favourite place in Cordoba it was Jazz Club. There was fantastic atmosfere. Cordoba is small but nice city with tipical Spanish climat. I think the best event are organized every year in spring time. In winter semester there is not so many events. One of the nicest I remember is the day od tree wise kongs (Tres Reyes Magos). Courses were held in Spanish. Erasmus students took part in classes with Spanish Students. My favourite subject was Financial Management. The profesor was explaining material very well, she always had time after classes to explain doubts.

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: Spanish
Was learning Spanish a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my Spanish How much did you improve your Spanish?
My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.) My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) Personal comments:
There is not many people that can speak English in Spain, so from the beginning I had to use spanish. I think it helped me a lot to improve my Spanish. ETEA (Faculty of Economics in University of Cordoba) offered just 2 weeks course of Spanish. In additional I took part in private Spanish course organized on the faculty of Languages in University of Cordoba. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
