Description:
La Universidad de Córdoba, fundada en 1972, es una Universidad joven, pero que recoge experiencias como la de la Universidad Libre que funcionó entre 1870 y 1874. HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? The flat we rented with 2 other student was very spacious and very cheap. Moreover it was situated in the old part of the center of Cordoba. The place was precious and I experimented the spanish way of living.
Personal comments:
The university was proposing some adresses of flat or house that could be rented. Though, the number of adress was a bit reduced in comparaison with the number of students. But it was not so difficult to find an accomodation because we could read advertisement everywhere in town, in bus stops, on the walls... ACADEMIC
My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
The atmosphere is more relax in spanish classes. The examens are very different rfom France. You need to learn a lot of theory and answer theorical question. There is very small part for practical classes.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
I will suggest more practical classes and group project. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: Spanish
Was learning Spanish a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my Spanish How much did you improve your Spanish?
My level before: Basic phrases My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) Personal comments:
During my 6 months stay in Cordoba, I was really surrounded by french people, and I improved my spanish slowly. While after that period, I went to Madrid to make an intership of 6 months. And that is why I do speak good spanish now. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Personal savings Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options Personal spending habits:
Life in general was cheaper in Spain. But I spent a bit more on telephone because international calls are more expensive than intern french calls. The travelling expenses were higher because I decided to enjoy that I was there to visit parts of Spain. Moreover, the plain ticket was expensive. Travel: was more expensive than at home. Telephone: was the same price as at home. Food, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was less expensive than at home.

Visit all the andalucia region. But travel as well in all Spain, because the North is really different from the South. It just looks as a different country! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
