There is some ships on the little river which have been transformed into bars. The bar "Schutzenberger" at the place Kleber is great because of its modern design, but the service is very bad. It has been like that three years ago when I lived in Strasbourg, and it has been the same when I returned for a quick visit in January 2004. cafe atlantico for brazilian dancing or just a drink by the harbour (and all on a boat!) good restaurants and cafes all over the place. Salamandres for a dance around a fountain, cafe des anges for fabulous salsa dancing, and quai des beers for an all round jolly good bar.
