In spite of the scottish accent, i understood everything when people were talking to me. As i was in a english spoken country, i spoke all the time english and my language skill really improve during this year.

Bambou is a cosy and classy club and probably the best club in Glasgow : they have special nights for students. Otherwise do not miss any big night in the university student union or the Garage.

It was pretty good after the first month because at the beginning I was not used to listen to so different language. Also in Glasgow there's a slang not easy to understand at a first approach.

In the beginig, the first month it was quite hard for me understand the scottish accent and slang. Right now maybe I have some influence of that georgious accent. I know the slang pretty well.

I wish I had known...
I went to go study abroad and the University of Glasgow gave me a great academic experience, but I found out that it was living abroad that took precedence and I would say make the best of it and try to get into the big music scene Glasgow has.
