Why? it's very comfortable to live and study at the same place - you don't have to go by bus
Personal comments:
it was quite ok - however twelve people who have to share a kitchen for six people was not very comfortable

especially the academic english at the university of sussex is very easy to understand. teacher pronounce very clearly - so you don't have any problems even to follow difficult topics

it was surprising that on-campus there live only very young students and nearly no post-graduates, so i was one of the eldest
