I was lucky to live n the best of the student hostels (Studentenheim), very practical, relatively cheap and lots of students from abroad

My German was ok when I got there but got better after 5 months. However, since I was a loy with exchange students, the language we spoke was English, so my German didn't get as good as it should have gotten.

WU is a huge university so organization is often problematic, but in the end it's ok.
