Your Role:

* Design, implement, and scale chemical processes for industrial manufacturing
* Analyze, evaluate, and implement polymer production processes for intraocular lenses
* Assess manufacturing methods for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, quality, and functionality; identify improvement opportunities
* Plan, conduct, or commission experiments in process areas, and document results
* Optimize and automate chemical processes
* Qualify equipment and processes; ensure reliable operation
* Monitor plant quality and output and drive continuous improvement

Your Profile:

* A successfully completed degree in chemistry, process engineering, or a related field
* Some professional experience in an industrial setting; experience in regulated environments is a plus
* Strong knowledge of polymer chemistry
* Optional but beneficial: experience with acrylates or radical polymerization
* Structured, goal-oriented problem-solving approach
* High initiative, strong commitment, and flexibility
* Enjoy collaborating in international teams; strong interpersonal and communication skills
* You value diverse perspectives and contribute to an inclusive team culture
* Proficiency in German and English (written and spoken)
