Utility Engineer - Makó (Hungary) - Your future position?

Overall mission:

You will be based in Makó and be part of the utility operations to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with safety and environmental standards. You will focus on managing energy efficiency, water treatment, and lean system projects while driving CI and sustainability across the plant. You will report to the Site Utility Manager.

You will:

* You will be responsible for hands-on engineering tasks including facility, utility, and equipment repair, as well as maintaining and troubleshooting machinery and technical systems through on-site practical executions
* Achieve optimum availability of utility equipment, analyzing the repair work and identify problems and anticipate equipment failure ahead of time
* Monitor and documentation of the plant's energy usage. Identify and investigate possible energy over usage
* Ensure compliance (safety, environmental, food safety) of Utility plant
* Ensure the required documentation, drawings, manuals are maintained and available
* Support the continuous improvement at the utility area, and help to develop the lean commitment of the utility operators

You:

* Degree in Engineering (mechanical/maintenance/electrical or other)
* Experience in factory engineering and maintenance strategy planning
* Building services engineering knowledge: operation and maintenance of air-handling, cooling and heating systems
* Food industry experience is an advantage
* Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment technologies is an advantage
* Fluency in English (written/oral), native Hungarian knowledge
