Global Supply Planner - Budapest (Hungary) - Your future position?

Overall mission:

Perform Supply Planning processes following defined standard operating procedures and maintain an overview of overall Supply Planning team activities.
Contribute to the achievement of Supply Planning performance and quality standards as defined in relevant service level agreements.
Be a main contact for the Global Ingredients Supply Network and the Functional Supply Heads concerning defined processes.
You will be based in Budapest and report to the Supply Planning Team Manager.

Main responsibilities:

* Be a main driver of process improvements in Supply Planning
* Provide professional support for the daily operations in the VMI planning and the Global Strategic / Under risk materials portfolio
* Build constructive relationships with other teams and partners
* Be a contact person for global partners for mid and long-term supply topics
* Partner with other work streams within the GBS in overseeing the end-to-end process
* Daily operations in the Supply Planning area:
For global vendor managed materials:
* Improve inbound supply patterns and evaluate exception requests from VMI Planner
* Manage planning parameters and lead time data and evaluate exception requests from VMI Planner
* Identify material supply constraints and collaborate with global Supply Chain team to develop resolution options
* Create presentation material for supply review and executive S&OP
For global vendor managed materials and non-vendor managed materials:
* Improve network inventory levels and evaluate exception requests from site
* Manage strategic stock-holding requests for raw materials
* Create material requirements plan
* Manage long-term supply issues

You:

* Bachelor's degree required in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
* Fluency in English in a business environment, additional languages are an advantage
* 3 or more years of experience in Planning
* Experience with SAP PP/MM modules
* Advanced MS Excel and good knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent tools
* Relevant process experience
* Numeracy and administration skills
* Experience of knowledge transfer activity
* Experience in a shared service center
