Global Servicing (GS) oversees consumer travel and concierge experiences, all card customer service functions for the company's global consumer, banking, merchant, and commercial customers, as well as the key enablement functions that power our products and services. GS provides the world's best customer experience every day by building on Amex's 175-year legacy of service excellence, leveraging new technologies and capabilities to drive transformation, and bringing a human touch to each customer interaction.

The First Line of Defense Financial Crimes Risk & Controls Center of Excellence provides an enterprise-wide approach to managing financial crime risk within Global Servicing. The team supports the development of strong controls across areas including anti-money laundering, sanctions, payments, and anti-corruption.

Working closely with Technology, Business, Servicing, and Compliance teams, the Financial Crimes Data Analytics Intern will use data to help identify emerging risks, evaluate potential control gaps, and support improvements to financial crime monitoring and reporting

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

Required Qualifications

* Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in data science, analytics, computer science, statistics, economics, finance, mathematics, or a related field.

* Bachelor's degree candidates with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.

Preferred Qualifications

* Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and data analysis or visualization tools.

* Ability to analyze data, identify meaningful insights, and develop data-driven recommendations.

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

* Ability to communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

* Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

* Interest in financial services, financial crime risk management, and control development.
