With multiple awards to our name, Larian Studios has proven that we're dedicated to delivering high-quality role-playing games As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur's Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a Game Engine QA to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect.
Responsibilities
* Perform all kinds of manual testing
* Closely assist the programming team with testing specific changes before code is submitted to the main developer branches
* Write new and maintain existing automated tests (Python/Pytest and Lua)
* Follow priorities set by the QA Lead to ensure team-wide goals are met
* Test and help improve our production pipelines and tools
* Act as the first point of contact for the production team on technical issues
Requirements
* Experience in programming and/or scripting
* Familiarity working with game engines
* Background using Perforce or other version control systems
* Good judgment in estimating the significance and consequences of bugs
* A rigorous, methodical, and resourceful approach to your work
* Self-disciplined, with strong self-learning skills
* Good communication skills, spoken and written, in English
* Passion for video games
* Desire to build a long-term career in QA
Nice To Haves
* Prior experience in QA is a big plus
* Knowledge of JIRA and Jenkins
* Familiarity with the RPG genre
