Manulife: Actuarial Internship Program 2027 (6.5 months)

Position Responsibilities
* Collaborate with various departments to support product pricing, conduct experience studies, analyze business strategies, and prepare special quotations for life and health businesses.
* Gain hands-on experience in traditional actuarial valuation under evolving financial reporting requirements.
* Support actuarial oversight functions in the regional office, providing high-quality analysis of business performance to senior management.
* Assist the actuarial team of Hong Kong's retirement business in pricing new and existing pension businesses, providing high-quality financial reports to management teams.
* Support risk management functions by implementing risk controls and highlighting key risks to senior management.

Required Qualifications
* Undergraduate student majoring in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or risk management.
* A self-starter who is adaptable and eager to learn.
* Strong academic performance.
* Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Fluent in written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of statistical software or programming languages is an advantage.

Internship Period
We are recruiting for the following internship periods:
* H1 2027 Intake: January 2027 - July 2027
* H2 2027 Intake: July 2027 - January 2028
