Business Unit / Role Specific Information
Global Merchant & Network Services (GMNS) brings together American Express' merchant and network-related businesses. GMNS supports millions of merchants worldwide and manages relationships with partners across the global payments ecosystem. As part of the GMNS Data Office, the Data Management team helps drive trusted, high-quality data that enables better business decisions, supports regulatory compliance, strengthens risk management, and improves operational effectiveness.
The team partners with business, technology, risk, and governance organizations to improve data quality, define critical data assets, establish data ownership, and support enterprise data management practices across GMNS

Profil requis du candidat:

Minimum Qualifications
* Currently enrolled in a full-time Master's degree program, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex information and identify meaningful insights.
* Has worked with one or more data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or similar technologies.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organizational and project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
* Self-starter with strong attention to detail and a continuous learning mindset.

Preferred Qualifications
* Academic or professional experience in data management, data analytics, business analytics, information systems, computer science, finance, risk management, or a related field.
* Basic familiarity with data management/governance, data quality, metadata management, data lineage, or regulatory reporting concepts.
