Overview

EHS Intern; part of the Pepsico Intern recruitment program to entice external talent to Pepsico. This role will provide additional scope for the existing EHS team to achieve the Global GEHSMS compliance for the Cork site.
Responsibilities

* Proactively championing EHS, and safe working practices across the company's activities and operations.
* Provides EHS updates, support and advice to colleagues.
* Assisting with reporting, investigating, and recording of accident, incident, near-miss and good catch data promptly, ensuring corrective actions are identified and tracked to implementation.
* Conducting safety inspections and risk assessments as required, ensuring appropriate action plans in place
* Support the implementation of the EHS management system (ISO14001 and ISO45001)
* Support the upkeep of EHS systems such as the legal, SDS and event database
Qualifications

* Undertaking a bachelor's or master's degree in an Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) field or related discipline.
* Good communication & analytical skills.
* Team Player.
* Excellent people skills.
* Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Self-starter, self-sufficient and eager to learn.
* Strong IT Skills in Word, PowerPoint & Excel.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality.
