Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? To be in touch with all the students and all the student activities.
Personal comments:
It was an area where all the students lived. There were many facilities such as sauna, sports fields, bikes to hire, billiard, Tv rooms etc.So as for facilities it was very well equipped. The bus connections to school were also good and it was very clean area too. My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
There should be a wider choice of courses and perhaps it would be useful if the internationals or exchange students interact with the Swedish ones more often. And moreover, stick to what was written in the catalogue where we had to choose our courses before coming to Sweden.

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Local language was: Different than language of instruction.
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't. Was learning Swedish a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my Swedish How much did you improve your English?
My level before: No problems in any areas (including slang) My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) How much did you improve your Swedish?
My level before: Did not speak it My level after: Basic phrases Personal comments:
To my knowledge, the Jonkoping university is the only Swedish university where English is the language of instruction. Doing your daily business in the university should not be problem if you speak it and administrational problems are easily solved. But also outside the university community you will be understood. Even bus drivers and cashiers in the supermarkets speak it. (Swedish TV ist partly in English so if you are a TV junkie you won't miss your favourite leisure activity.) Family scholarship from my home university Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options Personal spending habits:
I lived with my parents, so I didn't need to pay money for housing. Moreover, here in Sweden, consumers price is much higher than in Korea. Food, Travel, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Nightlife, Telephone: was the same price as at home.
Personal comments:
Everything is expensive here in Sweden. Cooking by yourself would be one of good ways to reduce spending money. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Personal recommendation:
I learned alot from this experience. The professors came from all over the world and you get to taste different kinds of food and cultures. Local students were nice and friendly and working together as a group in a project was the best thing of all. I learned how the local students worked and was very impressed by their punctuality and hard work. FINAL COMMENTS
I strongly recommend everyone to go to this university. Punctuality is the most important thing for the locals and they expect you to be like them too. Always be alert when the class is in session as lessons go really fast and by the time you realised it, it's already too late. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
