HOUSING
Personal assessment

KEY:
Couldn't have asked for more.
Pretty good.
Could've been better, but didn't lessen the overall experience.
Disappointing.

Location
Cleanliness
Space
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Because I got to live with Swedish students, make Swedish friends and have a Swedish experience while living amongst international students (in surrounding apartments)
Personal comments:
All round good basic student accommodation at a reasonable price.

Overall
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't.
Personal comments:
Had a Swedish language course... It ws only at basic level and there were restrictions on doing more advanced levels (due to the amount of students who wanted to learn Swedish). Thus, I was unable to continue to study Swedish even though I had an interest :-(

Because in my home country I lived at home. Overseas, I lived on my own and the expenses of one person does not equal the sum of the expenses of each member of a family. Usually, its cheaper as a whole than a group of individuals.
Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home.
Telephone: was the same price as at home.

Campus life
Party / people
Weather / Location
I wish I had known...
I wish I had the courses and the appropriate quarters that they were available and to which level students etc. explained simply to me. I found it difficult to figure out what to study given a change in one of my study units.
In my opinion:
Most people loved it.

During my experience abroad, I ...
Became familiar with another culture
KEY:
Happened all the time.
Happened quite a lot.
Happened a bit.
Didn't happen.
Traveled
Improved language skills
Met people from other countries
Became more independent
Partied a lot
Experienced a change in life
Advanced my studies/career
Personal recommendation:
Try to constantly integrate the Swedish students with the international students (i.e. not just at the start of the semester)
