If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? For me I had a horrible roommate. It really was luck of the draw, but I tried repeatedly to change rooms to no avail. The WIST dorms are very nice, however I reccomend paying extra for a single room.

Go with the single room. Having a roommate is hard enough when you share a common culture...

Personal comments:
I was coaching the Graz RFC at the time, so that was fun. I reccomend O'Carolines, Flann O'Brien's and 3 Monkeys. Too much fun. Oh, the parties at the Sportzentrum are wicked fun, too.

I spent a lot more on nightlife... way too much.
Travel, Nightlife, Telephone: was more expensive than at home.
Food, Overall: was the same price as at home.
Housing: was less expensive than at home.

Doener-Kabap is always cheap eats as is Drei Goldene Kuegeln (Way too much food if you ask me). Beer is cheaper than Coke, too.
