Two things: Vandreklub and Studenterhuset. By joining Vandrekluben (the hiking club), I was able to meet other students from many institutes of higher education in Copenhagen, spend time together hiking and at some social gatherings, see many parts of Denmark, southern Sweden and even central Norway. If you like hiking a lot, I would suggest you look up Vandreklubben. Studenterhuset (the student house) is a cafe where students can come to read, meet, get a quick bite, etc. It is in the heart of downtown. Every Wednesday night is International Student night. International students from all over and a few Danish students pack the place, drink a lot, dance some, and have great conversations. I would highly recommend it! Unfortunately it is only during the academic year, so those of us who arrived during the summer for language study really had a hard time finding a place to hang out. Studenterhuset on wednesdays is an obvious choice- and sign up to be a volunteer bartender or DJ! Rust and Vega are good nightclubs for dancing, but drinks are expensive. Friday nights are reserved for faculty Fredagsbars- cheap beers and dancing with Danish uni students! Best one is with the political science faculty at CSS, other good ones with English and History, Biology and Law. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

I mostly went to parties in the hall of residence. These were organised by student committees and we also had our own bar. It was much cheaper than going to the clubs in town (which can be very expensive) and was more fun than the student house where all the international students go because there was more of a mix of people (Danes and foreign students). There are too many to name within greater Copenhagen. There are tons of stores and cafes along Stroget, the largest walking street in Europe. Of course the best finds are on the streets just off this area. Christmas time is the best time throughout the city especially around Nyhavn, Radhuspladsen and Kongens Nytov which is beautifully decorated. Everything in this city is worth seeing at least once. Christiania is a great place to be any day of the week. Tuesdays at the gay and lesbian night at Rosie McGees, Wednesdays at Studenterhuset for the International Cafe, thursdays, fridays and saturday, too many options to write here. "The Souls" cellar is the best student's pub with the Happy Tuesday (2 beers in the price of 1). I liked the Klimt Cafe as well. One cannot miss the skating rinks popular especially in December! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

For Erasmus students there is obviously one place not to be missed, the studenterhuset on wednesdays.Just next to the clock tower it the place where most of foreigners get together for some party. Apart from that there are always many parties going on during the week: on Thursdays Copenhagen Business School, on Fridays Political Science or Sociology parties, the friday bar at the institute of economics, the weekend parties at the edgmont students residence, on sundays and tuesdays the reggae concerts at the . Many clubs to go out on weekends but I would definitely recommend Vega,Rust,Copenhagen Jazz House and Luxx.Don't miss a visit to Christiania. All in all, always plenty of things to do, many places to, many concerts, the only that lacks is time! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
