I thought it was very expensive. It costed me 365 euro for a double room. However it is a private university and most of the students are quite rich. The facilities were exceptional. There was always hot water in the shower and the layout of the rooms are nice. Each comes with a t.v with loads of channels.

You will see the real Italian Life, have opportunity to have more local contacts than living on Campus.

I was also living on Campus for 6 months, it was fun because there you never feel lonly because of other erasmus students, but the price was really expensive and you never practice Italian there.

the campus in LIUC is relatively satysfying, however the building was an old factory that has been turn into a campus which makes the campus not as comfortable as expected.

The rent was really high compared to the fact that it was a double room I lived in..But the facilities were pretty good and it was easier to get to know other exchange students when you lived on the campus residence.

The Campus is next to the University but far from everything else! I would rather live in Milano.

REVIEWS BY INTERNS AT LIUC Università Cattaneo Castellanza
A lot of work but you learn a lot
I had an extremely positive experience. You have to be prepared for very challenging situations, but if faced with the right approach they teach you a lot both when you get it right and when you get it wrong.
The working atmosphere is very hectic, but in spite of this, people are extremely close, even beyond the work.
ABOUT
The University was founded in 1991 on the initiative of the Industrial Association for the Province of Varese (UNIVA) and was formally recognised by a ministerial decree in October 1991 as an independent, self financing University. It had its first graduates in July 1995.
Since its foundation the University has a 4-year course in Business and Economics, since 1994/5 a 3-year course in Logistics and Production Engineering and since 1998/9 a 4-year course in Law and Economics. 1999-2000 will see the start of a five year course in Engineering Management.
The teaching philosophy of the University is based on the thinking of the Lombard economist, Carlo Cattaneo, who identified the human factor as one of the essential resources for economic development, foreseeing a need which is currently at the centre of the debate on company culture.
