Why? Best way to learn spanish. Also best way to integrate oneself in student activities & to get involved in all sorts of spanish culture activities (botellones...)

In murcia, it's cheap to get a flat. DON'T rent a room at the "Espinardo" campus outside town! they are more expensive, ugly and far away from the center of murcia.

The University offers a service which helps international students find accomodation either with other students or a local family - information about applying for this service is sent along with confirmation of a place at the university.

Why? Although I let the University accomodation office find me accomodation in my first term. It was over-priced and not well-equipped at all. In my second term I chose to find accomodation independently and lived with 3 Spanish girls. This was an enormous improvement.

It hold a lower standard and it was more expensive. Campus was outside the center, and it was unpractical living there.

It was pretty hard to find a nice place to live in Murcia (clean and modern) especially if you are a man because most of the time the owner prefer renting to girls
