Could you be the full-time Industrial Manufacturing Engineer (VIE Contract) in Hornell we're looking for?

Your future role

Industrialization & Operations :

* Support production ramp-up and process documentation management

* Ensure alignment between engineering design and shopfloor execution (work instructions)

* Act as a coordination point between Production, Maintenance, Engineering and Robotics teams

* Support commissioning and qualification of robotic equipment

* Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (automation rate, usage, maturity)

* Identify issues, escalate when needed, and drive resolution

* Contribute to continuous improvement (efficiency, productivity, safety)

Performance & Continuous Improvement

* Build and follow dashboards and performance reports

* Collect production feedback (REX) to improve processes (Design for Automation)

* Participate in lean initiatives and process optimization

* Support budget monitoring (planned vs actuals)

* Participate in TPM routines

Quality:

* Participate in daily quality routines (QRQC)

* Contribute to root cause analysis (8D, problem-solving methods)

* Track action plans and ensure closure with cross-functional teams

* Support process validation (FMEA, improvements implementation)

* Master's degree (Bac+5) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent

* Experience or understanding of industrialization and manufacturing processes

* Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies (QRQC, 8D, Lean tools)

* Familiarity with production processes and industrial practices

* A driver's license (appreciated)

* Strong communication skills and ability to foster collaboration between multiple stakeholders

* Fluent English and the ability to work in a multicultural environment

Contract:

* 12/18 months VIE contract
