Join us through an exciting VIE as a Junior Plant Procurement Manager, based in Napoli, Italy !
You will support the Senior Plant Procurement Manager by contributing to procurement performance, supplier management and continuous improvement initiatives while acting as a key support to the plant organization.
Key Responsibilities :
Performance & Productivity Support:
- Support the Senior PPM in monitoring material productivity and cost evolution (CSC).
- Contribute to tracking savings pipeline and supporting implementation of productivity actions.
- Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting for procurement performance.
- Support preparation of reviews (QBR, monthly performance meetings).
Supplier Performance & Business Continuity:
- Support Supplier Performance Management activities (quality, delivery, service levels).
- Help organize and prepare Supplier Performance Meetings (SUPMAN).
- Follow up on supplier issues and escalation tracking.
- Contribute to risk monitoring and mitigation actions (quality & logistics).
Plant Procurement Processes:
- Support deployment of Procurement strategy and Plant APOP.
- Assist in data consolidation and reporting for procurement tools (e.g., savings tracking tools).
- Contribute to supplier database updates and documentation compliance.
Cross-functional Support:
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, and Finance teams.
- Support Senior PPM in coordination with Category Managers and other stakeholders
- Contribute to cluster-level reporting and KPI tracking.
- Support harmonization of procurement practices across plants.
- Participate in transversal projects (digitalization, process improvement, sustainability).
- Share best practices and lessons learned across the cluster.
Sustainability & Compliance:
- Support implementation of sustainable procurement initiatives.
- Help the PPM to ensure compliance with procurement processes, tools, and audits.
Education : Master's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement,Industrial Engineering, Business administration or related field
Experience : 1-2 years of experience in Supply Chain, procurement or related field (internships and apprenticeships are fully valued)
Skills and mindset :
* Fluent in English (written and oral)
* Good understanding of procurement and supply chain processes
* KPI Development and Monitoring
* Strong analytical and data analysis skills
* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Proactive, autonomous and eager to learn
