Support the product development process of new, smart products from the initial idea through conceptualization and prototyping to serial maturity
Collaborate with research partners and suppliers, and coordinate projects for electronic and hardware design, from drafting and layout to ensuring functional testing (circuits, microcontrollers, low-power IoT, sensors)
Integrate and calibrate sensors for the precise acquisition of sport-specific movement patterns and performance data
Conduct lab and field tests, field trials, and validation under real-world conditions to ensure high quality and performance standards
Act as an interface and collaborate with internal product developers as well as external research partners and suppliers

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, Engineering Management, or a comparable field of study
Professional experience in the development of electronic and smart products is a plus (e.g., in consumer electronics, IoT, or the sporting goods industry)
Basic understanding of PCB design, analog / digital technology, and microcontroller programming
Hands-on experience working with sensors, such as inertial sensors / IMUs, and digital signal processing
Project management competence (agile, traditional) and experience in managing product development cycles (stage-gate process)
