Mandatory Internship in the Strategic Purchasing for Turned Parts

Job Description

* During your internship you will become part of our team and support us from the request of quotations until the final awarding of new business.
* You will have the chance to help the buyers to prepare and participate in annual price negotiations and support in contract creation.
* Using your analytical skills, you will contribute to procurement market research (scouting activities) and incorporate the results into the global parts family strategy.
* Furthermore, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating data in our Supplier Relationship Management Tool or SAP.
* Finally, you will provide support within a supplier- or part-specific relocation project and gain experience in project management in an international environment

Requerimientos del candidato/a:

Qualifications

* Education: studies in the field of Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or comparable
* Experience and Knowledge: confident use of MS Office; initial experience in SAP
* Personality and Working Practice: you excel at clearly expressing ideas, collaborating effectively with others, staying highly motivated to learn new skills, and working independently
* Work Routine: the position can be filled at our location in Elchingen or in Stuttgart
* Languages: very good in English and good in German
