Your responsabilities

As part of the Banking & Capital Markets team in Geneva, you will work with leading financial services clients (e.g., private banks, asset managers, family offices) on business transformation and regulatory and operational compliance initiatives. You will actively contribute to the design, assessment, and implementation of compliance frameworks, helping clients ensure their processes, controls, and systems align with evolving regulations and industry best practices.

During your internship, you will be

* Working closely with our international Banking & Capital markets team to deliver operational compliance initiatives and regulatory compliance transformation projects, from strategy through to implementation
* Actively contributing to the design, implementation, and operationalization of regulatory and compliance frameworks within banking and capital markets institutions
* Gaining insight into various financial institutions and their operating models
* Actively participating in internal knowledge-sharing initiatives, training sessions, and cross-functional collaboration

Your Profile

* You are completing or have recently completed a Master's degree from a university or a business, engineering, economics school
* Hands-on experience in an operational compliance, regulatory change, or internal control role / internship within a bank, asset manager, wealth manager, financial institution, or consulting firm
* Experience in project management, business analysis, or consulting is a strong asset
* Exposure to banking regulations and compliance topics (e.g., KYC/AML, client onboarding, governance, internal controls, regulatory reporting) is highly valued
* You thrive in international environments and are fluent in both French and English, German is a plus
* Proficiency in MS Office tools, GenAI tools (ChatGPT, CoPilot, etc.)
* You are detail-oriented, creative, flexible, and proactive, with strong organizational and communication skills
* You demonstrate strong team spirit, ownership, and motivation to grow into a permanent role within BearingPoint
