Job summary

The VIE will sit within the Asia Multi-Asset and Solutions Investment team. As an Investment Specialist (IS), the VIE will work in close collaboration with Portfolio Managers, Marketing, Sales and Client Servicing teams. IS acts as the subject matter expert for specific investment strategies and is able to explain complex investment processes, analyze performance, and support business development to clients and internal stakeholders.

The IS is expected to support new business initiative, maintain current Multi-Asset and Solutions related investment activities, and be involved in improving existing team efficiency and processes.

Supplementary Information

· Draft monthly reporting, attribution reports and commentaries, recurrent investment materials and marketing presentations to update clients during regular meetings
· Support Marketing and Sales colleagues in effectively communicating our investment strategy, market views and portfolio positioning
· Perform peers and industry analysis to monitor the evolution of our positioning versus peers and relay any relevant innovative feature available in the street
· Assist in planning, designing, launching, and reviewing the performance of new products and mandates.

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or above

Level of minimal experience

3-5 years

Required skills

· Good communication and written skills
· Strong financial markets interest with a cross asset understanding
· Curiosity
· Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
· Leveraging AI for process automation with strong quality assurance

Technical skills required

· PowerPoint and Excel
· Ability to use financial tools such as Bloomberg and Morningstar is a plus

Languages

English but any Asian language would be a plus
