Apprentice Pipefitters

To work at our Air Products Field Project in Edmonton, AB.
* SALARY: $31.20 - $46.80
* DSP SALARY: $72.44
* BENEFITS: 3% Pension & 3% RRSP + CLAC Benefits
* HOURS PER DAY: 10 Mon - Thurs, 8 Friday
* OVERTIME: After 8 hours a day
* SHIFT: Days & Nights
* START DATE: ASAP
* PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly Pay (Friday)
Responsibilities:
* Demonstrates knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving and bending of pipes, valves and fittings
* Assembles and installs piping sections according to blueprints and job specifications
* Performs physically demanding tasks such as cutting openings for pipe while standing for extended periods of time and securing pipe in hard to reach areas
* Uses testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors
* Read and interpret drawings and blue prints
* May perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
* Must have a valid Apprenticeship Pipefitting ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
* Must have experience working at heights
* Must be willing to attend safety training (paid by WorleyCord): CSTS, WHMIS2015, ESC EWP, ESC Fall Protection,
* Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
* Strong communication skills written and verbal
* Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
