Job Summary:
Completes diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop under limited supervision.
We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Winnipeg, MB).
Will make an impact in the following ways:
* Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
* Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
* Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
* Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
* Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
* Maintain own tools

What You'll Do
* Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related equipment
* Complete work orders accurately and efficiently including all documentation
* Follow all safety procedures and perform work in accordance with company and regulatory standards
* Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members regarding repair status and findings
* Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace
* Support team goals by delivering reliable, on-time service

-This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations and must meet the conditions of the company policy
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
Locally valid driving permit (Preferred)
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products

* Completes complex internal engine repairs
* Performs engine overhauls unassisted
* Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components
* Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software
