We are looking for an experienced SAP CPI Integration Developer to support the integration architecture of an international SAP S/4HANA transformation and rollout program.

The consultant will design, develop and maintain integrations using SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI), connecting SAP S/4HANA with applications such as IFS, ServiceNow and a Service Technician application. A key focus will be ensuring reliable end-to-end integration across service-related processes, including Service Requests, Order Management, Shipping, Delivery, Billing and Invoicing.

What you'll be doing

* Design, develop, configure and maintain integration flows using SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI).
* Build interfaces between SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP applications, particularly IFS and other applications within the Service landscape.
* Develop and maintain synchronous and asynchronous integration scenarios.
* Configure mappings, routing, transformations and message processing.
* Work with integration technologies and protocols such as REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, XML, JSON, SFTP and HTTPS.
* Implement monitoring, error handling and exception-management mechanisms.
* Troubleshoot complex integration issues and perform root-cause analysis.
* Work closely with SAP EDI, S/4HANA functional, BTP development and architecture teams.
* Support integration requirements for Service/Order Management, Shipping, Delivery, Billing and Invoicing.
* Ensure secure and scalable connectivity between cloud and on-premise applications.
* Support migration of existing interfaces into the target S/4HANA integration landscape.
* Participate in integration testing, cutover and go-live activities.
* Contribute to integration standards and reusable solutions for future rollouts.
* Maintain technical interface and integration documentation

What You'll Bring Along

* Minimum 4-7 years of hands-on experience with SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite - Cloud Integration.
* Experience designing and developing complex integration flows.
* Strong knowledge of: REST and SOAP, OData, IDoc, XML and JSON, Message Mapping, Routing and transformation, API-based integrations
* Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with non-SAP systems.
* Strong understanding of integration patterns and error-handling concepts.
* Experience with interface monitoring and troubleshooting.
* Understanding of authentication, certificates and secure connectivity.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* Professional proficiency in English or German is required.
