In this role, you will be responsible for the design of multiple renewable energy projects, particularly batteries and solar, stand alone and hybridation.
Key Responsibilities
* Project planning: collaboration with other departments to define project goals, scope and objectives, evaluation and assessment of potential renewable energy project sites.
* Project design: develop detailed project designs, including system layouts and schematics.
* Permitting and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
* Deep knowledge of UK regulation for the plant´s design - distances to be considered from battery/solar farms to roads, low/medium/high voltage lines, substations´ dimension, gas or other pipelines, access to land, green belt, houses…
* Knowledge of AutoCad, PVSyst, GIS and other programmes necessary for the execution of project layouts.
* Knowledge and experience in project development, being involved in the development of projects that have been built - from Greenfield to Brownfield.
* 2 to 5 years of experience in similar roles
