The Opportunity
Working with the Infrastructure, Transport and Civils team, you will support the civil works design across a range of infrastructure and site development projects.
You will contribute to feasibility studies, concept, and detailed design under the guidance of senior engineers, gaining hands-on experience in technical analysis, modelling, and civil engineering design.
The role provides exposure to a broad range of project types, including roads, drainage systems, utilities, and site development, allowing you to develop a strong foundation in both technical design and multidisciplinary coordination. You will also have the opportunity to build your skills in industry-standard tools, engineering standards, and sustainable design practices, while working collaboratively within project teams.
The role is based in Manila office.
Your role in our team
* Support technical due diligence and site development master planning activities under guidance of senior engineers
* Assist in the assessment and analysis of natural terrain and site conditions
* Contribute to the development of site grading, earthworks, and road grading plans
* Support the preparation of layouts for road networks, site-wide drainage and sewerage systems, and water and firewater distribution networks in accordance with relevant standards and codes
* Assist in the layout design of utility corridors (e.g. fibre, telecoms, electrical)
* Contribute to pavement and drainage design tasks in line with AASHTO, FHWA, DPWH, and other applicable standards
* Support project teams by preparing basic engineering information such as road alignments, routes, and site data
* Prepare civil drawings and models using relevant design software, preferably Civil3D but 12D or OpenRoads is also advantage
Is this role right for you?
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; holding a Civil Engineering Licence, or preparing to undertake the licensure exam is an advantage for fresh graduates
* Internship or project exposure in design/consultancy environment is beneficial
* Basic understanding of civil engineering design principles, particularly in hydrology, hydraulics, and drainage
* Awareness of relevant standards (e.g. DPWH, AASHTO, FHWA) is an advantage
* Familiarity with design tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, 12D, OpenRoads, or similar software is an advantage
* Exposure to modelling tools (e.g. HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWorks ICM) is beneficial
* Organized and detail-oriented, with a structured approach to tasks
* Ability to manage multiple tasks with guidance while maintaining quality of outputWillingness to learn, show initiative, and develop problem-solving skills
