You will work closely with senior stakeholders and gain insight into how AI is shaped, governed, and scaled in a global enterprise.

Your new role

GCMD ai community is driving digital transformation by accelerating the adoption of AI and data-driven ways of working. A strong AI community is critical to enable knowledge sharing, collaboration, and responsible innovation across domains.
By supporting the coordination and development of this community, you will help create momentum, strengthen engagement, and ensure that AI initiatives are visible, connected, and impactful.

Key responsibilities

* Coordinate the AI community
* Support planning and execution of community events (town halls, knowledge sessions, demos, workshops)
* Maintain community channels (Teams, SharePoint, newsletters)

* Connect stakeholders across IT, business, and data domains
* Help identify use cases, best practices, and reusable AI assets
* Support communication and engagement
* Create clear and engaging materials (updates, presentations, playbooks, FAQs)
* Promote AI initiatives and success stories across GCMD
* Structure and track community activities
* Maintain overview of ongoing AI initiatives, participants, and outputs
* Track simple metrics on engagement and impact

* Keep documentation structured, accessible, and up to date

What you'll learn

* How AI initiatives are developed and scaled in a global organisation
* Practical experience in community building and cross-functional coordination
* Insight into AI governance, innovation, and change management
* Strong skills in communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation
* Hands-on experience with collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint)

To support your growth, you will be supported by a manager, who will provide feedback on your work and help you maximize your learning journey.

Your new department

You will join GCMD Business Support team, where we work at the intersection of IT, strategy, cLEAN, training, finance, procurement, PMO and Portfolio to ensure strong governance, disciplined decision-making and efficient execution.
You will be part of a collaborative and forward-looking environment that values experimentation, learning, and bold ideas.

Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for an ambitious and curious student who wants to build real-world skills while studying:

* Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree (e.g. business, IT, digital innovation, engineering, or similar)
* Strong interest in AI, digital transformation, and innovation
* Structured and proactive, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities
* Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
* Comfortable working across both strategic topics and practical tasks
* Curious about collaboration tools and data (experience with Teams, SharePoint is a plus)

What success looks like

* The AI community becomes the place people go to learn, share, and collaborate
* AI adoption accelerates
* AI use cases surface faster because people are connected, not siloed
* Community content is simple, usable, and actually used, not just stored
* Engagement grows organically - not driven by top-down communication

Practical details

The internship period is a minimum of 6 months (with the possibility to extend) and is a full-time internship (37 hours per week). Exam periods will be taken into account.
The start date is 1st of September 2026, and a Danish full-time work permit is required for non-EUcitizens.
