The Position

Purpose of the role

A project manager is a professional responsible for overseeing and leading the execution of projects from initiation to completion. They are responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with the project's objectives and requirement

How would your day to day look like?

You will play a fundamental role in the delivery of projects by facilitating communication, encouraging teamwork, and providing guidance to team members to ensure they understand their tasks and deadlines.

Main responsibilities:
* Creating a comprehensive project plan, including defining project goals, objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines.
* Identifying tasks, allocate resources, and create a schedule to ensure the project progresses smoothly.
* Overseeing the project team, assigning roles and responsibilities, and ensuring effective collaboration.
* Identifying project stakeholders, establish effective communication channels, and manage their expectations.
* Proactively identifying potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate or minimize their impact on the project. This includes conducting risk assessments, creating contingency plans, and monitoring risks throughout the project.
* Working with relevant stakeholders to define and manage the project budget. Monitor project costs, track expenses, and ensure that the project is delivered within the allocated budget.
* Developing and implement quality control processes, conduct quality reviews, and address any deficiencies to maintain high-quality outcomes.
* Monitoring project progress, track milestones, and report on the status to stakeholders.
* Providing regular updates on project performance, identify any deviations from the plan, and take corrective actions as needed.
* Assessing change requests, evaluating their impact on the project, and implementing approved changes while minimizing disruption.
* Maintaining project documentation, including project plans, reports, and communication records ensuring those are organized, up to date, and easily accessible to the project team and stakeholders.
* Overseeing the project closure process, including conducting post-project evaluations, documenting lessons learned, and archiving project documentation.

Who are you?
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or a related field
* Proficient in English
* Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships
* Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
* Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
* Team-management and leadership skills
* Documentation management and ability to use project management tools
* Attention to details even under pressure
* Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
* Work permit to work in Spain.
* A team player, who listens to their colleagues but is not afraid to share your own ideas.
* A proactive person and comfortable with speaking up constructively.
* Comfort with uncertainty.

* Not afraid to fail and learn
* Nice to have: IT Infrastructure background (Security, data management, data center scope...)
