Reporting to the UK IT Manager, a 1-year placement is available within the IT Department in Burton, working within a small professional team.

About the Role:

As an IT Assistant, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting day-to-day IT operations, including:

* Provide 2nd line support in a complex manufacturing environment

* Provide day to day support to local and remote users

* Assisting with hardware and software setup and maintenance

* Support the team with network and infrastructure tasks

About You:

Required:

* Working towards a degree in IT, Computer Science or related discipline.

* Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn

* A good communicator who is not afraid to interact with users at all levels

* Good knowledge of computer and printer hardware

* The ability to manage your own workload

Desirable but not essential:

* Experience with configuring and administering Windows 10 and 11

* Knowledge of server hardware and operating systems

* Knowledge of computer networks and related technologies
