Key Responsibilities

* Process manual settlements and asset/securities transfer instructions across multiple asset classes to completion
* Affirm broker confirmations, respond to broker inquiries, and coordinate with counterparties to keep transaction flows moving
* Monitor settlement queues, investigate failed/unmatched/delayed transactions, and resolve cash and securities discrepancies
* Maintain accurate records, clear documentation, and regular status updates and management reporting
* Identify inefficiencies and contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives
* Follow risk controls, escalate issues promptly, and ensure required checks are performed consistently

The team

You'll be working in our Settlements team based in Wuxi, China. We ensure asset transfers and settlements are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time with strong controls across cash transfers and international securities in multiple asset classes and markets. You'll partner daily with clients, custodians, financial institutions, and our Front Office, Middle Office, and Technology teams through regular huddles, clear communication, and timely escalation.

Your Skills And Experience

* Hands-on securities settlements and asset transfer processing across the trade lifecycle, including post-trade and custody flows
* Strong exception management skills to investigate and resolve failed, rejected, unmatched, or delayed settlements
* Ability to validate transfer instructions and settlement static data with high accuracy and attention to detail
* Proficiency maintaining documentation, including SOP updates and operational logs to support standardization and controls
* Sound operational risk mindset, following required policies, controls, and escalation practices
* Confidence using Microsoft Excel and operations systems to analyze breaks, manage inquiries, and support process improvement
* Ideally have familiarity using AI-assisted tooling to optimize workflows, validating outputs and using tools responsibly
* A banking apprenticeship or equivalent experience plus several years in financial services operations/back office or equivalent experience
